(go or go b.v. in short) is the liaison between horticultural distributors handelsonderneming klep bv, mertens-groep and joh. vos capelle bv. together (unofficially) also called the go-partners. they provide a wide product range for the horticulture and amenity business, ranging from crop protection, fertilizers, seeds and substrates to protective work clothing and safety products. the go-partners are equal share holders. main goal of the liaison is to be stronger in the dutch horticultural market. the idea is that 3 partners together have a bigger working area and more knowledge than apart, and are therefore a more interesting partner for our suppliers. the main issues of the liaison therefore are: 1. exchange of practical experience in the field and knowledge of the crops. this is done in crop teams (segments) that each meet 4 or 5 times a year. 2. create partnerships with suppliers and producers that invest in high quality and r&d. this way our crop specialists are familiar with the latest developments in the market and can provide growers with an up to date and high quality advice. 3. to get the best purchase price and sales conditions with our suppliers. 4. bundle marketing actions such as mailings, news letters, attending horticultural fairs etc.
